7:14 Initiative

So, what exactly is the 7:14 Initiative?
Simply put, it’s putting II Chronicles 7:14 into action!
In 2 Chronicles 7:14 God assured Israel that: “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (NKJV)
Nothing has changed since that time. God wants us to call on Him. He wants us to depend on Him. He’s our Father and wants to take care of us … but we need to draw near to Him in prayer.
We believe that God is calling Christ’s living Church to humility, a hunger for God (“pray and seek my face”), and holiness (“turn from their wicked ways”). This call to humility, hunger, and holiness has always been at the heart of God preparing to do a new work.
We urge you to join with us as we continue with the 7:14 Initiative
- Pray every day at 7:14 am & 7:14 pm
- Fast at least one afternoon a week. A meal, favorite food, activity, technology, etc. (fasting to indicate your devotion and dedication)
- Pray for a spiritual awakening, personally, in the church and in our community.
- Pray for guidance for you and loved ones.
- Pray for your needs, as well as others.
